The CHORE-TIME Sort Scale System is simple and consists of a weigh scale and sorter connected to a computerized controller.
- As a pig walks to the barn’s eating area, it enters the weighing scale where the controller reads the pig’s weight.
- After determining the animal’s weight, the controller automatically sorts pigs by opening a front door on the scale for the hog to exit either to the right or to the left according to the pig’s weight.
